Tonight in Annapolis at the Westfield Mall (also known as the Annapolis Mall) guest lecturer Dr. Robert Pond, Associate Dean of Loyola University will be discussing the legal, social and technical considerations of a billion dollar tunnel construction project. The title of his talk is “The Big Dig”. Are big tunnels in our future? Be prepared to ask questions if you’d like to learn more. The discussion and talk are courtesy of the Annapolis Chapter of the Maryland Society of Professional Engineer. The group meets every fourth Thursday. This month they are meeting at the August Grill at 6:30 p.m. The lecture and interactive discussion is FREE and open to the public. The food that you order is not.
