Editor & writer Nadja Maril shares her thoughts
Friends, family, good food all make for great times. I really enjoy cooking and playing the role of hostess, however sometimes it’s nice to be waited on and Mother’s Day is one of those days coming up.
All the restaurants will be busy this weekend, so the other option is to go out tonight before they get so busy. A favorite place, for retro atmosphere and huge portions is the Edgewater Restaurant.
Nadja Maril is a communications professional who has over 10 years experience as a magazine editor. A writer and journalist, Maril is the author of several books including: "American Lighting 1840-1940", "Antique Lamp Buyer's Guide", "Me, Molly Midnight; the Artist's Cat", and "Runaway, Molly Midnight; the Artist's Cat". Her short stories and essays have been published in several small online journals including Lunch Ticket, Change Seven, Scarlet Leaf Review and Defunkt Magazine.
